We capture life through a lens, a synthetic eye that packages moments for viewing. A digital scrapbook, that follows not only your cherished moments but the mundane as well, often blurring the distinction between the two. A composer and their phone camera, our closet digital companion, a marvel of y2k innovation, and an essential tool today- catalogues our lives while occasionally burying our most cherished moments between the never ending screen shots and filler photos.  
 
As a documenter, I film and capture my life through a lens daily...often running out of phone storage because of my chronic filming. It makes me consider how precious photographs use to be, which is the reason I started Mini Mondays, to capture the small moments lost in the sea of infinite photos. 
 
I would love to help capture your small moments, commemorating them in a precious photograph sized oil painting. To secure your commission here is what you need to know...
 
What I will need from you
  • A Reference
    • I love to work from videos or candids, they often capture the most authenticity. With that said any clear reference photo or video will work. If you send a video please do not send anything longer than 1:30 seconds and note that I will work from a still frame, if you have a specific still frame you would like me to use please send that instead of the video.
    • Do not send me adult-content, your commission will be refused without refund. 
  • If there is any music that compliments your reference please send the song name and artist. 
  • Please notify me if there are any colors that you would not like to see in your final piece. I am also open to working in black and white! 
  • Your reference does not need to include a figure (human or animal), but if it does please note I can only paint a maximum of three. I am working on a tiny canvas and can't physically paint more than three... even though I would love to!
 
What you need to know
  • I cannot offer commission refunds once I have started work on your commission but do allow cancellation and full refund within 24 hours after purchasing this listing and securing your spot. 
  • After you purchase your commission slot via this listing, I will send you a link to a google form where you will submit your reference materials and fill out a short questionnaire. Please note that I am just a little artist working solo so if you purchase late at night I may not get it until the morning, but will always send the link asap!
  • Oil painting takes a while, your painting will probably take about a month to fully complete and ship. 
  • After I finish the painting I will send you a notification with a picture, I allow for one complimentary adjustment within 48 hours of my notice. This is to ensure the drying process is not delayed and it can be sealed and shipped in a timely manner. If there are any extenuating circumstances please do not hesitate to reach out, I want you to love your painting.

  • All Mini Monday paintings are painted of 4" x 6" canvas panels, perfect size for standard framing and a throw-back to classic scrapbook photos.

  • Returns

    I offer a 30 day refund or exchange policy for work purchased through my website. I cannot help with anything outside of the 30 day policy.

    Please read all descriptions fully, for some commissions/artworks I am unable to offer the 30 day policy.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same packaging, and condition that it was received in. 

    To initiate and complete your return you will need to provide either a receipt or proof of purchase.

    Original artwork in new unused/undamaged condition will only be eligible for a 50% refund upon return or exchange. 

    Refunds (if applicable)

    In some cases I will only be able to offer partial refunds which will be assessed on a case to case basis. Please don't let this deter you from reaching out if there is an issue- I want to help you in any way I can and improve your experience working with me!


    Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive an email to notify you that I have received your item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


    If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method, this can sometimes take up to a week to be reflected on any statements. 


    Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

    If you haven’t received your refund yet please contact your bank or credit company first to inquire about the refund to ensure there were no clerical issues on their end- it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

    If you have done all this, please reach out to me via my websites' contact form and we can get it all straightened out. When using the form please be sure to include an email address that you will have access to and can receive messages. It may take 2-3 business days for me to respond, but I will respond as soon as possible. 

    Sale Items (if applicable)

    Sale items are not eligible for refund and return. 

    Exchanges (if applicable)

    Exchanges will only be offered for prints at this time and will be granted on case to case basis for damaged or defective goods. If you are experiencing an issue with an original artwork please reach out to me via my contact form to coordinate a possible replacement. 

    To inquire or initiate an exchange please use my website contact form. Don't forget, I need an email that I can respond to, so make sure you have access to the email you submit. 

    Shipping

    To return your product please reach out to me via my website contact form with a valid email address that you have access to.

    Shipping is non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider adding additional tracking and insurance. I cannot refund you without the original product fully returned in original packaging. 

    If there are any issues or extenuating circumstances please do not hesitate to reach out!
